Call for a World Summit on the Aurora

Ariana Amnisos has issued an eloquent statement of her position on the Nuclear Crisis. She says:

I have been notably silent on this issue of late, and I am sure people have been wondering where I have been. It is my instinct and need, when everyone seems to be a hurry in the midst of difficulty, to take time to breathe. To not want to get caught up in the great potential there is for frenzy and decisions made out of desperation, decisions made too quickly. It has also been and continues to be a difficult time for all of us.

That being said, some options have emerged. There are those that wish to seek ways to exert pressures on the government to seek dialogue and resolution, those that feel it is not yet time to give up on trying to convince Boris and his associates to reconsider, and perhaps those that don't see why it's not possible to do both.

As a whole, the Elysians do not agree with this act. It was not a decision made by the community, but one made independently by some members of that community. We do, as individuals, choose to work on projects for the greater good. These projects are discussed as a community, and take the effects any projects might have on the community into consideration. This plan was not one of these projects.

The Elysians continue to be dedicated to peace and healthy community for the future of humanity. We are devoted to the peaceful resolution of conflict. In that capacity, we all need to be of service to the world right now.

There is no time limit for the demands Boris has made. The bombs will not be detonated by him or any of his associates unless he is attacked. They will simply exist where they are, passively, as a reminder. I am assured that they are not in danger of going off accidentally. They will only be detonated if the government fails to see the predicament they are in is serious and requires a different approach - and in some incredible gap of logic they decide to go on the offensive.

I would like to urge the people of the world to speak their mind, in only non-violent ways. Urge your leaders to proceed carefully. We are seeking a peaceful future, behave peacefully in your protests, boycotts, whatever you feel you should do. I think we all knew there might come a time of reckoning, a turning point. This is it. This will not be easy, but it is vital that we are successful and do not allow our fears to control us.

At the same time, I would like to publicly urge Boris and his associates to back down. To allow the bombs to be dismantled. You all remain a part of this community and we will continue to welcome you and protect you on board the Aurora. Consider that it is possible that you have taken the wrong path. The risk is too great to not be sure. Having succeeded in setting this plan in motion is enough to wake us all. It illustrates to the world what is possible, and hopefully has shaken many out of their stupor into the need for immediate change.

Since the government is not helpful at this time, we will be seeking any other avenues available to us to resolve this peacefully. It is time for all in the world who wish to see resolution to speak out. This is not a dream, this is a threat to the future of existance as we know it. If we do not make change, it will end in nuclear blasts either way. Wake, and act.

In peace,
Ariana
